Regents Chemistry

General Information

Often considered to be the most difficult regents exam, JK Education Volunteer, Olivia Guarino (guarinool20@student.ktufsd.org), will be the go-to person for assistance in Chemistry– so be sure to join her quizlet class.

As a difficult course, be sure to take advantage of our numerous tutors! Remember that problems in Chemistry can often be solved more than one way– everyone has a different way to comprehend material– so do not be afraid to ask a teacher or tutor to explain or solve a problem differently.

Labs

Labs are an important part to learning and understanding Chemistry. Unfortunately because of the Corona-cation students are unable to use the lab rooms and equipment. Students also do not have teachers around to help. This doesn’t mean that labs have to be taken out of the picture. There are multiple virtual labs and lab videos students and teachers can access online. Above are a few online labs we have found but feel free to research on your own as well. The Virtual Labs website also has instruction videos for each lab posted as a link at the top of the page. Students can use these resources to effectively learn and expand their knowledge on chemistry.
